Installing low-carbon heating solutions

From 2025, the UK government’s Future Homes Standards means all new properties must have low-carbon heating installed. Our wide range of electric heating options guarantees compliance with regulations and contributes to reducing Britain's carbon reliance.

Air source heat pumps, a low-carbon heating solution

Air source heat pumps are a great electric heating solution as they provide properties with constant, consistent warmth and cost less to run than a gas boiler or LPG heating solution(1). We manage the UK’s fastest-growing air source heat pump installers network through our UK partner, CB Heating. CB Heating have over 20 years of experience and expertise installing heat pumps; they’re also rated as ‘Excellent’ on TrustPilot.

Based on your heating system and specifications, CB Heating will work with you to design the right heat pump solution for your properties. They can also work with you on the installations.

All developers have trusted suppliers and contractors. Our approach to zero-carbon heating solutions will help strengthen your supplier relationships.

How we'll do this

We’ll provide you with top-quality heat pumps that best suit your property types, all with MCS accreditation. Your homeowners will also receive ongoing technical support and specific service contracts from us, and all backed with a year’s parts and labour warranty.

Buying your heat pumps from us also means you’ll get;

  • Help to design the system, including heat loss calculations, UFH schedules and detailed performance estimates
  • Free air source heat pump training for your existing gas boiler installers or access to our nationwide installer network.
  • The opportunity for your installers to be members of our Heat Pump Installer Network, with BPEC qualifications, on completion of their free air source heat pump training
  • Choice – if you prefer, CB Heating can arrange the installation of your heat pumps using existing members of our network

Offering free heat pump installation training

We offer free heat pump installation training, so your team can obtain the skills and knowledge to meet the Future Homes Standards.

Our partner, CB Heating, will supply the installation training and air source heat pump, ensuring the process runs smoothly for you and your team. Once your team have installed the pump, CB Heating will commission it and provide MCS certification. This means you’ll comply with industry codes of conduct and compliance.

Electric car charging points

Sales of electric vehicles (EVs) in the UK grew by over a fifth in the first quarter of 2023, according to new research from PwC's Electric Vehicle Sales Review for Q1 2023. The findings show that electric vehicles (battery plug-in and hybrid) combined made up a total UK sales market share of 53%.

Installing EV charging points positions your properties as sustainable living choices, increasing their value and appeal. We can help you install EV chargers from Pod Point, part of the EDF family.

Solar panels and batteries

Solar panels and batteries equip your buyers to generate their own electricity and store it for use day and night. This positions your property as an aspirational, zero-carbon lifestyle choice, and with our EDF Export Variable tariffs, homeowners can sell any electricity they don’t use for a guaranteed price.
